Richard Morrice has worked in every aspect of the beer trade over the last 35 years.
He has hosted national and international events for companies like Tesco and Sainsbury’s, launched new beers for companies large (Caledonian Brewery) and small (Wold Top) and even helped to design a few beers too.
He spent three fantastic weeks visiting 34 breweries on a motorbike and wrote a booklet ‘Beer Buff on a Motorbike’ for Tesco who distributed a million copies through their stores in the UK.
He is excited by the innovation that is going on all over the World but admits, not surprisingly, ‘it’s getting harder to keep up with everything that is going on.’
His huge network of contacts many of whom he has known for over thirty years keep him supplied with lots of interesting snippets of information.
He has got lots of good stories to tell and he always makes sure that the beers and their brewers are the heroes.
