The theme of this Discover Event will change all the time but will always feature exciting craft beer.

We’ll look at a range of beer styles – from IPA to dark beers such as stouts and porters. You can find out the theme of each of our craft beer events on our Eventbrite page.

This event is most suited to Beer Experts

You are a beer expert if you have tried many beers and you have found ones that you like and others that you don't get on with. Variety is the spice of life after all. You have an encyclopaedic knowledge of beer and your bookshelf groans under the weight of books and articles about beer. You enjoy a session with your friends and you are always glad to try something new. You will happily share your knowledge with people who are keen to hear what you know. Your Mastermind category would be Beer Glorious Beer.

What is included in the ticket price?

• A carefully selected range of 8 beers, with a 10cl industry standard tasting sample of each one. This is enough to allow you to check out the colour, aroma and taste of the beer whilst not overloading your palate which would spoil your enjoyment.
• Lots of background about the brewers and their breweries.
• Banter (that's your job)!
• A tricky competition, which can be undertaken as an individual or as a team of two. The prize is beer related and may include some interesting and rare books.
• Some snacks.
